Two classes of Primary 6 pupils are taking part in a week of activities on the Island of Hoy in Orkney. Each class is spending 2 nights in the Hoy Outdoor Centre - the first group of 17 pupils is there from Monday to Wednesday, and the second group of 19 will be coming on Wednesday and returning on Friday.
In the morning we split into two groups. Some went climbing in Stromness while others went kayaking in a disused quarry nearby. In the afternoon we all caught the boat to Hoy, where we had an evening meal at the outdoor centre before going down to the beach for a session of archery.
